Osteosynthesis Workshop for the Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering

As in previous years, Nicola Döbelin and Thomas Imwinkelried held a hands-on osteosynthesis workshop for the University of Bern’s Master’s program in Biomedical Engineering (BME). The 13 students had the opportunity to practice inserting cortical screws with and without compression, as well as fixing osteosynthesis plates, using synthetic bone models. We were delighted by the participants’ keen interest and active involvement.
