GC-MS is a very sensitive method, which offers a wide range of applications in organic trace analysis. The system is equipped for liquid injection, headspace and solid phase microextraction (SPME Arrow). With the triple quadrupole mass spectrometer organic traces can be identified and quantified in the pg range.

Useful tips:

Suitable samples: Solids (extraction or HS/SPME), liquids (HS/SPME/direct), gases (HS/SPME)
Sample specifications:
  • approx. 10 mL (liquid samples); approx. 5 g (solid samples)
  • smaller quantities also possible
