Over the past 12 years, the Robert Mathys Foundation has been managed competently and with foresight by Dr Beat Gasser. He will now retire at the end of November 2021. He will then continue to support the new Executive Board on a small scale and be a member of the Foundation Board and the Scientific Council. We thank Beat Gasser for his tireless commitment over the years. With his competence and networking ability, he has contributed significantly to the development of the RMS Foundation.
On 1 December 2021, Dr Lukas Eschbach will succeed him as the new Managing Director of the RMS Foundation. With him, a personality has been appointed who has been part of the RMS for almost 25 years and knows the industry very well. Through the organisation of the conference [MEET THE EXPERT] and many customer contacts, he is known to some of you and very well networked. We are convinced that in Lukas Eschbach we have found a new Managing Director who will pursue the goals of the foundation and the service laboratory and who will be able to develop and successfully continue the business.
The change in management is accompanied by a change in the Foundation Board. On 1 December 2021, Robert Mathys will pass on the presidency of the Foundation Board to his daughter Gabriela Mathys. As a lawyer with her own law firm, she is ideally qualified to support and continue to run the RMS Foundation in the spirit of the founding family. Robert Mathys will continue to serve on the Foundation Board and the Scientific Council and will be responsible for the administration of the Foundation's funds and the financing of research activities.
We thank you for your loyalty and the good cooperation in the past and would be pleased to count you among our customers and partners in the future.
