I am working at the RMS Foundation since August 2018 and I am responsible for customer orders and research projects in the field of chemical analysis and biocompatibility.
I completed my chemistry study and later my doctorate at ETH Zurich (CH) from 1996 to 2006. In my diploma thesis I dealt with mass transport in laser ablation ICP mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). During my PhD thesis at the Institute of Chemical and Bioengineering (ICB) I was working on new methods based on FTIR spectroscopy for the in-situ investigation of chemical interactions and reactions at the solid-liquid interface.
After my postdoc I worked for almost 10 years at Bruker Optics in Fällanden (CH) as an application specialist and sales manager in the field of FTIR, FT-NIR and RAMAN spectroscopy and was mainly responsible for customers in R&D and academia.
