President of the Foundation Board

Gabriela Mathys joined the RMS Foundation in December 2021 as President of the Foundation Board on a part-time basis. Prior to that, she was a member of the Foundation Board for ten years. With the assumption of the presidency of the Foundation Board, she succeeded her father Robert Mathys.

The tasks of the President of the Foundation Board are the management of the Board and the strategic management of the RMS in compliance with the Statutes and the law. In doing so, she plans and monitors the strategic direction of the RMS. Gabriela Mathys is a member of the Executive Board. She supports the operational management and decides on the objectives and planning of all activities and the use of the available funds within the framework of the business regulations.

She completed her law studies and subsequently obtained her license to practice law and as a notary in the canton of Solothurn. Since 2016 she has been working as an independent lawyer and notary. She has her own law firm in Grenchen. Her office is specialized in construction and real estate law. In 2020 she obtained the title as a specialist lawyer SAV construction and real estate law.
