The RMS Foundation offers advisory and test services to outside customers in the most various fields of application on an order basis and in line with its general business conditions.

The services of the RMS have been certified in line with the SN EN ISO 9001 standard. All tests are performed according to or in imitation of official standards. Some selective services have been accredited according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Specific tests according to the wishes of the customer and bases on RMS standard services can be done too.

The following listing and in more detail the RMS performance catalogue give a survey of testing services and the offers of the of the RMS Foundation:

• Analysis of materials:
  Bulk analysis, surface analysis, metallography, microscopy, tribology, product failure analysis 
• Mechanical tests:
  Static and dynamic testing of samples and components (tension, compression, bending, torsion)
• General tests:
  e.g. FE analysis, climatic chamber tests, cleaning tests, literature reviews
