
Reto Luginbuehl has been working since November 2001 for the Dr Robert Mathys Foundation (RMS) in Bettlach, Switzerland. He is responsible for skeletal substitutes. He studied chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Bern between 1989 and 1996. Afterwards, he was working at the national science foundation engineering research center UWEB (University of Washington Engineered Biomaterials) at the University of Washington in Seattle. In 2001 he participated at a European COST program, working in organic chemistry and surface analysis.
His main interests are in the research arena of tissue engineering, resorbable biomaterials (biopolymers, ceramics), and surface analysis.
