Dr. Roman Heuberger has been working for the RMS Foundation since November 2007 and is responsible for services and research projects in the areas of surfaces, interfaces and tribology. 

He studied and did his Ph.D. in the institute of materials science at the ETH Zurich between 1998 and 2007. During his thesis he investigated the formation of tribofilms mainly using surface analytical tools with a focus on XPS analysis.
